Barnett, MO — On Saturday, May 16, 2026 downtown Barnett was abuzz with excitement as the “Where Pigs Fly” Car Show and Vendor Fair brought the community together for a day of fun and fundraising. More than 50 impressive vehicles rolled in, with a dozen vendors lining the streets, all in support of the ongoing development of the Rock Island Trail.
Mayor Angie Stevens and Friends of Rock Island board members Leisa & Steve Burkemper were instrumental in making the event a success. Their dedication behind the scenes ensured a smooth, enjoyable day for all.
The City of Barnett thanks everyone who participated and supported the cause. Proceeds from the event will help advance Barnett’s portion of the Rock Island Trail, further enhancing recreation and tourism in our community.
